As a sports fanatic and enthusiast, exercise has been an integral part of Nikki’s life. She found her passion in the pool, where she was a four-time Junior Olympic swimmer, Junior Lifeguard of the Year, Student of the Year and Commissioner for Women’s Athletics. She then decided that she wanted take her athleticism from the pool to the courts and began playing Volleyball. Her initial goal was to achieve a scholarship for college, however after one volleyball practice, she knew she was passionate about this sport. She made varsity by her sophomore year, becoming team captain and was named Scholar Athlete, helping her team rank third in the nation. She achieved her scholarship and at the University of Rhode Island, her team became the Atlantic 10 Champions. She traveled all over the world and upon her return; she joined the AVP/NEXT Pro Volleyball Beach tour and played across the US.
With her extensive travels around the world and in the US, she realized how obesity, poor nutrition and lack of exercise, affected the lives of so many. With the tools that she had acquired and the passion that she felt for helping others, she knew that she had she give back and share what she had learned. But she also knew that, exercise and changing eating habits, were not enough, she had to help by teaching clients how, “Beauty Starts from Within.”
