Spring Tips For Staying Healthy While Traveling

The other day I was flying and it seemed like everyone on the plane was coughing or blowing their nose, very loudly………!
If you are a frequent traveler like me, you know you cannot afford to get sick every time you travel. So how do I stay healthy while everyone around me is sick?
Here are some tips:

  1. Wash your hands-frequently. From the airport kiosk to security bins, to public bathrooms and everything in between, you touch a lot of things when you are traveling….so has everyone else. Don’t take their germs with you! Wash with soap and water-often.
  2. Bring anti-bacterial wipes. I always carry anti-bacterial wipes with me. The tray table, seat controls, arm rest-everything gets a wipedown. Wipe down your phone and Ipad too.
  3. Stay hydrated. Germs love a dehydrated, tired person. Drink that water and flush out those toxins.
  4. Keep up your wellness program. Just because you are traveling doesn’t mean wellness stays home. Staying on your program will keep you mentally and physically healthy. Move, eat well, get plenty of rest and have fun.
